Flat fees
Every fee, written down before we start
One flat fee for each job, quoted in writing after a short first call. If your matter is larger or smaller than usual, we say so and adjust the number before you sign.
Forming a company
An LLC set up and ready to trade, with an operating agreement written for it. The number of owners and how they split things moves the fee.

Reviewing a contract
One agreement read, marked up and talked through before you sign. A longer or stranger contract costs more than a standard one.

Work with your accountant
Fees the state charges for filings are passed on at cost. Lawsuits and court hearings are never inside a flat fee; we quote them separately, in writing, before any work starts.
What every engagement letter spells out
The work
Each document we’ll write or review, and each meeting.
The fee
One number, and when it’s due. Most owners pay half to start and half at signing.
The costs
Filing fees and anything else paid to someone other than us, listed at cost.
The edges
What would fall outside the fee, so a surprise never arrives as an invoice.
Not sure which fits? Describe the worry
Describe the worry in a few lines. We’ll reply with the fee that fits it, or tell you if it needs a different lawyer.
